Letters From Nowhere: A Hidden Object Mystery

 For iPhone and iPod Touch
 HD for iPad

It has been seven years since your parents went missing. Suddenly, your granddad has asked you to come back to Hazewich. Once you arrived at the town, you noticed something strange straightaway, the whole town has gone silent, no one speaks a word and the atmosphere is eerily spooky. As you play through this freemium game, more and more details of the story will be revealed and it does that in an interesting way; through side-quests and hidden object scenes.

As expected, Letters From Nowhere Mystery is filled with quests, finding items in HOG scenes, completing puzzles, buying power-ups from the shop and more. You will have to use your Candle Energy to play each round of search and unlike some other games in the field, the energy reloads relatively fast and they are not too highly charged. Moreover, there are loads of Collectible items to collect as you are trying to complete your collections and earn handsome rewards.

As you leveled up, new scenes will be unlocked. Apart from the list of items to search, in each new Hidden Object scene, there are Stamps and Black Cat to hunt for. Once you collect enough Black Cats, you can use them to unlock fun mini-games and puzzles. There are also various types of Power-Ups in the Hidden Object scenes which can be used as Hint, they can be purchased as In-App Purchases or earn through quests and items searching.

On the look and feel side, Letters from Nowhere did an impressive job. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy with atmospheric fog and smoke everywhere, graphics are sharp and clear while not being overly-dark. In addition, the music is great, it is moody and not distracting.

Letters From Nowhere: A Hidden Object Mystery is a satisfying adaptation of the franchise, it is great to look at and fun to play, also, did we mentioned that it is also not overpriced?
