Temptation Episode I is a brand new Hidden Object Adventure game and the term Episode 1 in the title is a clear hint for a new series. The plot in Temptation Episode I is dark and scary while captivating at the same time. As the story starts to reveal, you will find yourself drawn to the game in no time.
Temptation Episode I plays like any other solid HOPA, featuring some interesting locations to visit and fun tasks to solve. It is quite a surprise to see the graphics in Temptation to be so dark and deary - it is not really a bad thing though, as it fits the theme of the game perfectly. Also, in our opinion, the visuals are look a little outdated and muddy, like the game was developed a few years back. On the other hand, the soundtracks and all the sound effects are great - this also includes the voices of the characters.
Temptation Episode I is an extremely enjoyable game to play as the game's mechanics are so well put together. The Hidden Object scenes are standard but they are well-cluttered which make the objects to a pain to find. The puzzles are very clever, most of them require some strategy and brainpower to solve but they are not head-spinning difficult either. One unique element Temptation has is the finding of Enchanted Flowers, these flowers function differently on different objects, it is really fun and interesting. Unfortunately, there is no interactive map offered in Temptation Episode I. There is quite a lot of backtracking to do but at least the locations you are allowed to visit are pretty limited at a time so it is not that bad as an issue.
If you are looking for an ominous and entertaining adventure game to play, Temptation Episode I should be right up your alley. Apart from the game's disappointing graphics and the lack of map, Temptation Episode I would not fail to impress!
