Name: Diner Dash Rush
Release Date: 27 June 2013
Well, Diner Dash Rush is not actually a sequel since it is very different from the previous Diner Dash - it is more like a side-game or a special release. Players who enjoy dashing, serving food to the customer will still be able to enjoy this new game as the main gameplay is actually very familiar. You are Flo working in Flo's Diner in the well-known Dinertown; when customers come in, you drag them to their seat (the color match is still here although it does not show how many combos you have earned), they order and you serve and check them out. What different in this 'Rush' sequel is that everything feels more 'Rush' like it is a speed-up version of Diner Dash. Customers order fast, eat fast and check out fast so within a short period of time, you can serve many customers.
Diner Dash Rush consists of one level but the order and type of customers are different each time you play. There are also VIP customers, if these VIPs are happy enough they will reward you with special points where you can pursue the Happy Hour at the end of each play. The Happy Hour extends the time on the clock and it is basically 'madness' - customers line up at crazy rate and there is no worry about whether the color matches the seat or not since every customers and seats have the same color!
To further enhance the gameplay, there are power ups to purchase (there are four different types at the time of this review). Each of them is helpful in a different way as your main objective of this game is to get the Highest Score on the weekly leaderboard. Coins can be purchased using real money but each level you completed will reward you with coins anyway.
We also really enjoyed the improved graphics and the look of the characters in this new Diner Dash. Graphics are crisp, colorful and Flo looks gorgeous than ever! The music is great and gives the 'rush' feeling of the game.
To sum up, Diner Dash Rush is like an accelerated version of Diner Dash with everything got fast forwarded, anyway, it is a extremely fun and addicting to play. In further updates, Playfist could add more new features and power ups to keep the game fresh otherwise some players might found it a little bit boring after a while.
