After last few weeks offers of some average Hidden Object games (including the last 2 CEs), Twisted Lands: Origin as a Standard Edition game is surely a fantastic for us Hidden Object lovers! We must first say that we're never a fan of Twisted Lands series, we found Shadow Town and Insomniac downright confusing, however, this third sequel or what actually is a prequel is amazing! Things seem to have improved over the last year, graphics are improved, they're now sharp and clean, all locations are very stunning and characters aren't as 'ugly' as before! The storytelling is also better, it's less confusing and more enjoyable, with the help of well done voice overs! Animations are also very lively, not jerky as expected, this makes cut scenes run very smoothly and the cut scenes in this game are 'interactive' which means you can click on the action to perform during the cut scene, this could be an extremely interesting feature when further developed. Music is also suit the game, it sounds exciting, not annoying and sound effects are not too repetitious! All dialogues are voiced, and some of them are 'interactive' dialogues, you can choose what you would like to say! There is a diary, a compass which point to available directions when clicked, a map which shows area of interest but can't use to jump and also a mystery box which acts similar to 'snake and ladder' game! There's nothing much to complain on except that most puzzles are not very creative and are slightly too easy. When all great features in this game combined, Twisted Lands: Origin is surely a very exciting game, it's breathtaking and stunning! It's a game that once you started playing, you wouldn't want to stop until you finished!
