Live Novels: Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice - Review

Name: Live Novels: Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice
Release Date: 26 July 2012
Developer: Europress

Live Novels is another game that based on the famous novel "Pride and Prejudice", this one is different but in quite a negative way! It's a Hidden Object Adventure game which involving scrolling screens, we believe many people would hate this idea since it's plain annoying and confusing! For the gameplay, it's a mixed of FROG and HOG, they're fairly easy to complete since the items are not extremely difficult to spot and the hint system recharges fast! Graphics are not great but not super poor either, some scenes are quite beautiful, but they're not so crisp or clear. Music is suitable but it keeps replaying and gets irritating after a while! For the story, we've surely seen it before, so nothing outstanding about it! Puzzles are also quite entertaining, although they didn't offer us anything new. Live Novels is a very confusing and annoying game, the visuals and sound are also very average, we would only recommend it to true fans of the novel!
