May's Mysteries: The Secret of Dragonville - Review

Name: May's Mysteries: The Secret of Dragonville
Release Date: 13 June 2012
Developer: V5 Play Studio

May's Mysteries: The Secret of Dragonville is a pure Puzzle game, you will be asked to solve over 270 puzzles and some of them are Hidden Object scenes! If you’re used to typical gameplay is basic HOPA game, then this one is different, each time you want to travel to another location, you first need to click on the compass which we found it as a plain annoyance! However, graphics are cartoonish style which are bright and cheerful so is the music! Story is also very lovely, in fact, more interesting than in some Hidden Object Adventure games! For the puzzles, they’re range from absolutely easy ones to the real brain-teasers and they come in ever types that you can imagine from jigsaws, math, words and many more! What really annoyed us was that every time you finished a puzzles, you need to click submit to check your answers, moreover, you need to collect hint points In order to skip a puzzle (you can also play bonus puzzles to earn more) and all puzzles come with a long, wordy instructions! This game involves a huge lot of readings, most of them have no voices but the spoken ones are well done, they can be skipped but you would missed some important notes! All in all, May’s Mysteries has the potential to be a great, entertaining puzzle game, but it needs some further development for it to be less annoying!
