Victorian Mysteries: The Yellow Room is the third game in the series after Moonstone and The Woman in White, same as the others it has a very hooking, intense and exciting storyline based on Gaston Leroux's The Mystery of the Yellow Room. Graphics in this game are a bit grainy but are very well done, very good choice of colors. Voice overs are in French accent which is a bit hard to catch but by following the subtitles, it makes a lot of sense. HOG scenes are very simple and not too hard and puzzles are basic but fun. The gameplay is quite linear though, sometimes it tells you exactly where to go and you can't refuse it. The main problem we encountered is that there's no hint button in the game (apart from HOG scenes), and the game is quite challenging too, you can use the map but it's very difficult to read and it doesn't point all the area of interests. Expect from its unreasonable and confusing ending, Victorian Mysteries 3 is surely worth a try with its great graphics and intriguing story.
