Silent Nights: The Pianist - Review

Name: Silent Nights: The Pianist Collector's Edition
Release Date: 16 March 2012
Developer: Dark Blue Games

 For iPhone and iPod Touch
 HD for iPad

The first impression of the game is not so good, even with great opening cut scene but the graphics are too dark, dull and grey which is not interesting! However, the voice-overs are really great, really beautiful! The gameplay is also very simple, without any fresh or new features. HOG scenes are plenty, luckily, in every scenes we have a special item which can be collected by interacting with it and the interaction is really creative. There're not so many puzzles, most of them are extremely easy but still quite fun to play. The story is hooking, it makes you want to finish the whole game at once, kudos to the developer on that :) The Bonus Chapter is a nice change, you would be taking the role of Yvette instead of her sister, the story of this character is parallel to the main game, and all the interactions make some connections to the main game, unfortunately, most of the locations are reused, even HOG scenes! and it is comparatively short! Silent Nights is one of those failed CE,  but since this is the first game of the developer, they've done a terrific job!
